For certain people, when we talk about Malindo Air, they tend to imagine that it's using old technology and has poor maintenance as it's one of the cheapest flights. What they had guess was wrong. My friend and I was on the flight to Bali last month on this plane and it was great. Everything is new and it has small monitor for movies and entertainments for every seats. Who knows, maybe we were lucky.. we bought the online ticket to Bali for only RM75 per person....
We've also been served drinks and meals for free... As the seats are so empty, I just sneak to the tail of the plane and have a look. Well, you can tell that most of the things can be controlled from the panel.
From what it says here, Malindo Air is a joint venture between National Aerospace and Defence Industries (NADI) (51%) of Malaysia and
Lion Air of
Indonesia (49%). The name
Malindo is derived from the names of respective countries:
Malaysia and
Indonesia.
So, if you trust MAS, you should trust Malindo Air as well.
