Getting around Hong Kong Day 2 - Chi Lin & Victoria Peak

Chi Lin Nunnery (Diamond Hill)
The next day I had a visit at Chi Lin nunnery at Diamond Hill ( just after the Wong Tai Sin stop). I had a wonderful vegetarian lunch there though it was quite expensive. The temple was amazing. Not many people know about this place.

As I travel alone, I took the Five Fortune Blessings. Not Bad!
Headed to Victoria Peak after the lunch by the MTR (stop at Central).

Victoria Peak

If you get off to the other side of the Central Staion (Exit K) you will see this statue, Sir Thomas Jackson, near to The Prince's Building.

Following the signboard, there's about 5 - 10 minutes walk to the Peak Tram terminus.

Along the way you will see this on your left, just cross the road and go straight up.
Not sure what it means, maybe you need a recharge. haha. But if you turn right, it's the way to the church.

There you are. the Peak Tram terminus.

At the Peak Tram terminus counter, there are few options. You can choose to buy a package that includes Madamne Tussouds  or you can just buy Peak Tram + Sky Terrace or peak tram itself. I chose the Peak Tram + Sky Terrace as I want to take better photos and it costs only HK$80 whereas the package with Madamne Tussouds costs HK$320. If you are not sure, you can buy the tickets after you got the peak but it will be more expensive.
This is located alongside the Peak Tram waiting area. I guess I still have this!!
Peak Tram arrives!!
When you reach the Peak, you get to see this...

If you did not buy the tickets at the counter down there, you can buy it here.
I reached the Peak by the Tram at around 3pm and I went around enjoying the views. Oh yeah, you can bring some drinking water or food as they are expensve up there. One lemon tea costs HK$35.

That's the Sky Terrace I'll be going at 5-6pm.

The way to the Sky Terrace.
There were many people at the Sky Terrace. I've got a place to setup my camera and I stay there till 8pm, hoping to see the Symphony of Lights again.

Japanese acting like a pro using Canon Mark II and Sony Video shot. Almost all places he wants to stand. I don't know what the external flash is for while capturing night shots.

As my Tripod is not tall enough, I found a way to balance it. Thanks to its flexible design.

I was here setting up my camera, and they were making money over there. haha.

Kids down there disturbing my balance.

I've got my View finally, after long hours waiting !

That's Hong Kong @ 7.41pm

Hong Kong @ 8.10pm
I found this interesting... People who stay here must be very rich.

It's time for me to go down the hill. While waiting for the long queue, I took some of the night pictures around the park.

So many people queuing up to descend.
